The Exhibition has four distinct themes to attract focussed exhibitors and visitors:
Print, Narrow Web, Package Converting & Corrugated Packaging.
An extensive promotional campaign kicked in recently, with the much vaunted road shows being conducted in a new format. These are being presented as contact programmes that include a knowledge seminar. HP and Technova are the knowledge partners in these events that are being conducted at two levels. The Grassroots Contact Programme reaches out to the very small towns that are seeing a big increase in print demand and hence a mushrooming of new printers thirsting for knowledge. These programmes are being conducted in partnership with regional associations and in the states of Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu & Gujarat and are receiving tumultuous response. In Maharashtra, the programmes have been completed in Nashik, Ahmednagar, Nanded, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Akola, Satara, Kolhapur and Belgaum upto the end of October. In Tamilnadu, the Grassroot Contact Programme has been conducted in Puducherry, Dindigul, Thoothukudi, Vellore and Thiruvannamalai.
In the month of November, the programme will reach out to Solapur in Maharashtra and Mehasana, Surat, Rajkot and Bhavnagar in Gujarat.
The other part of this programme is planned as Zonal level contact programmes. The programme in Kochi in the South was successfully carried out in association with the Kerala Master Printers ‘Association and the Kerala Printers’ Association. In November this programme will happen at Lucknow in the North, Kolkata in the East and Vadodara in the West.
Meantime, the exhibitors have started finalising and unveiling their plans. The show will host the launch of 75+ products and will feature the LIVE demonstration of 200+ running machines.
