Anand Limaye, the man behind the 91-year-old India Printing Works (IPW), one of India’s leading print houses that has been giving life to books since the pre-independence era, was awarded this year with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award (LTA) by the Mumbai Mudrak Sangh (MMS) for his contributions in the print industry, social work, research, and philanthropy.
Anand Limaye has been active in Mumbai Mudrak Sangh and the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), enabling him to serve the industry from the grassroots. Limaye was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award 2023 for his contributions to the printing sector and his achievements, which continue to inspire future generations of Indian printers.
The LTA 2023 was presented to Anand Limaye on April 14, 2023 by Ram Naik, the honorable former Governor of Uttar Pradesh. Padmanabh Acharya, former Governor of Nagaland, was the guest of honour at the event. The ceremony was joined by Raveendra Joshi, President, All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) and Prakash Canser, President, MMS as chief guests, and was attended by several dignitaries from the industry.
