The Converting Segment at the PackPlus Exhibition received a good response on the opening day of the Show.
Being held in the shadow of the upcoming K Exhibition, over 40 companies nevertheless are exhibiting in the converting zone among the over 150 exhibitors at the PackPlus. The visitors have shown equal enthusiasm as they thronged these stands and the exhibitors reported spot sales and robust leads on the first day itself.
Twin Engineers displaying Twin Pump (Solvent less) – Futura booked order for three of its machines on the very first day of the exhibition. “It has been a wonderful start,” says Vikas Kumar, Sr. Executive – Marketing, Twin Engineers. “This model helps optimize running cost of the equipment substantially as no pneumatics controls / compressed air is required which consume power,” he adds.
Rollex Machinery also sold its slitter rewinder machine on the first day to a Nepal based company. Kirit Fulbariya, Director of the company had a busy day meeting customers. He is very optimistic about the next three days of the Show.
Suddha Converting Machineries (P) Ltd. displays the solvent-less laminator- economy model assembled with imported components. “This machine being solvent-less brings down the cost of laminates, thus providing an economical laminating solution,” said Ashis Banerjee, CEO, Suddha Converting Machineries.
Other companies in the converting zone like Uflex Ltd.- Engineering Division, Canara Flex and Flexo India have also displayed their machines and repotedly received good enquiries.
HP India Sales presents product samples ranging from rigid to flexible packaging showing different labels. “Finding all that is related to the converting industry under one roof is a big benefit visitors are getting,” says Ajay Rao Rane, Sales Manager – India & Sri Lanka, HP.
Tacom CA introduces an interesting range of Carton Feeder, Pour & Dose and PacSpout. “The PaCSpout is an attractive and practical pouring that can be used in cartons as well as bag in box,” says Francesco Riva, Managing Director, Tacom SA.
