Rishabh Industries- Hyderabad, is a manufacturer of multilayer co-extruded polythene films and laminates with multi-colour rotogravure and CI flexo printing, lamination and pouching.
The flexible packaging material produced by the company is aimed at segments like food items, edible oils, milk, confectioneries, and baked products while carrier shopping bags are also produced. Rishab has a three 3-layer blown film lines with IBC technology, a KYMC Eco CI flexo press and two gravure presses with auto registration control systems. For finishing and converting there are solvent-less lamination and turret slitting machines. 
The CI flexo press was installed six months back at the company.“We believe in appreciating the new technologies and found that CI flexography is the direction to move ahead. So, we added a CI flexo press which is highly suitable to our requirements,” said Yogesh Jain, Founder, Rishabh Industries.
“Compared with the gravure machine the wastage has gone down by almost 80%. The changeover is very fast, printing quality is better than rotogravure and the productivity too is better which has reduced labour costs,” he added.
Rishabh is also using DuPont plates with DigiFlow technology. The company is planning to add a 6- colour CI flexo printing machine and 7-layer blown film line in near future. “Rishabh Industries is one of the latest example of the fast adoption of flexography by the gravure-based flexible packaging converters in India. These printers in India are now aware that flexo is delivering benefits of productivity, sustainability and quality,” said Hardik Patel, Marketing Manager, DuPont Packaging Graphics. “The company has been catalyzing flexo success with the new Cyrel DigiFlow platemaking and Cyrel Performance plates launched at drupa last year and now fully commercialized here. DigiFlow plates are delivering superior print quality at higher speeds with ease of use at Rishabh Industries,” he added.
“Rishabh chose our Eco Series of CI Flexo press which is the ideal press for converters new to CI flexo printing. Although the Echo is our entry level press, the precision and workmanship on the press is of high standard with excellent production capacity. The benefits of the CI flexo process have now been realized by Rishabh,” said Kunal Mehta, KYMC India.
