The InterPrint Expo inaugural lamp was lit by Mr. Ahmad Mughira Nurhani, President, Indonesia Print Media Association. He was joined by Mr. Raveendra Joshi, President, AIFMP; Mr. Vijay Kumar Chopra, CMD, Punjab Kesary & former President AIFMP; Mr. Subhash Chander, former President, AIFMP; Mr. Ashwani Gupta, Treasurer, AIFMP; Mr. A. Senthil Kumar, Vice President (South), AIFMP; Mr. C Ravinder Reddy, Joint Secretary, AIFMP; Mr. Surinder Bahga , Member Advisory Committee, Union Home Ministry on UTs; Mr. Sanjay Goel, Chairman, Punjab Chapter & IIA Director, Ludhiana Smart City; Mr. S Gurmeet Singh Kular, President, Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organisation and Mr. Kamal Chopra, General Secretary, OPA, who delivered added essence to the inaugural ceremony.
InterPrint Expo India held at Exhibition Ground, Sector 34, Chandigarh from 14th – 17th December 2018 was a platform for the printers to meet and interact with manufacturers. The exhibition was organized by Offset Printers Association (OPA) of Ludhiana, in association with Udan Media & Communication Pvt. Ltd., with the support of IPAMA, AIFMP and 56 Regional Printer Associations from Northern States of India. The event was also supported by AP Tech USA, PEIAC China, Reed Exhibitions UK, CAPT China and Printing Technology Association of China.
The highlight of the event was ‘Presidential Print Awards’, which recognised and felicitated presidents of 24 different printers associations of North India. These coveted awards were presented to Presidents of printers associations of Ambala- Mr. Sunil Chopra; Amritsar– Mr. Maninder Singh; Batala- Mr. Hardeep Singh; Bhatinda– Mr. Jagdev Kumar; Chandigarh– Mr. Rajesh Girdhar; Dhuri– Mr. J.S.L. InterPrint Expo India was organized with an aim to educate the printers about latest technologies and persuading them to adopt with the latest technologies, to cope up with the international quality and production standards.
The four-day trade fair witnessed 150 exhibitors featuring over 4000 products and services. The exhibition’s carpet area covered about 22,500 square meters. As per the report, more than 12000 printers from 39 different cities visited the event.
