This Year The conclave focused on Gaining Competitive Edge with Integrated Packaging & Supply Chain Processes will be held on 11-12 June at Pragati Maidan Conference Centre, New Delhi.
The International Packaging Conclave has gained a remarkable status in the packaging & allied industries with its successful past editions held in New Delhi and Hyderabad. The event, this year, has come up as International Packaging & SupplyChain Conclave with a focus on issues pertaining to the packaging and supply chain industry.
An Overview
Competitive packaging and shelf display in modern retail alone cannot help to build winning products unless it is backed by a resilient, efficient supply chain. Emerging concepts in packaging design, operations, sourcing and distribution logistics seek to build integrated platforms of market driven value networks. The packaging is designed not only with the consumer in mind but also its freight and handling. The supply chain seeks to go beyond the old adage of ‘right product at the right place’ to being adaptive enough to sense and realign market focus at all times.
The brand owners, packaging technologists and logistics experts need to share a common knowledge platform in order to address the complex issues across the organization. Experts from the field of packaging, operations automation and supply chain will come together at the International Packaging Conclave 2014 to carry discussion at length.
The Objective
The Conclave, this year, will explore the theme of gaining market value by the creation of the emerging concept of the market driven value network. In an environment of brand volatility and slow market growth, such market driven supply networks are being increasingly sought after to create lean and cost efficient processes. The advent of on-line retail and its attendant sales forecasting and inventory complexity have made the demand even more urgent.
The Programme
The conclave, featuring 25+ expert panelists and an expected figure of 300+ business delegates, will star with lunch and will be followed by three interactive panel discussions involving experts and participants, allowing real-time experience and knowledge sharing. The networking cocktail & dinner will seal the event with an informal ambiance encouraging the exchange of ideas.
“The Conclave has been planned as an opportunity for Packaging Users, Convertors, Equipment and Material Manufacturers as well as Supply Chain & Logistics professionals to come together to discuss their requirements. The outcome of such discussions would help the development of highly adaptive packaged product supply and distribution networks built with real-time market data,” says Deepak Manchanda, a Packaging Consultant and the co-ordinator of the Conclave.
The Conclave, organized by Print-Packaging.Com (P) Ltd., will be running concurrently with the first two days of the PackPlus & SupplyPlus 2014 Exhibition, which is scheduled from 11-14 June at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
