Digital Print Asia 2.0 brought the digital printing community together on 24–25 September 2026 at Hilton Bengaluru Embassy Manyata Business Park for two days of focused industry conversations, knowledge exchange and networking. The summit explored the changing realities of print businesses, with discussions centred on automation, artificial intelligence, emerging applications, productivity and the opportunities shaping the next phase of digital print.
Built around the theme AUTOMATE • ACCELERATE • ACHIEVE, the 2026 edition moved the conversation beyond technology and equipment alone to address a larger question facing the industry: how can digital print businesses convert new capabilities into sustainable and profitable opportunities?
Printers, publishers, converters, technology providers, industry experts and business leaders came together to examine automation, artificial intelligence, workflow efficiency, digital transformation, emerging applications, publishing, packaging and labels, commercial print and the economics behind investment decisions.
Three Pathways, One Digital Print Ecosystem
The breakout rooms were structured around three DIGITAL³ Pathways: PACK TO PROFIT, PRESS TO PUBLISH and PIXELS TO PRODUCT, enabling conversations to go deeper into packaging and labels, books and publishing, and commercial and digital print applications.
The format encouraged more focused interaction and practical exchange around the challenges, opportunities and business realities within each segment. The smaller-room setting also created space for questions, experiences and perspectives from delegates to become part of the conversation, taking discussions beyond the main stage.
Speaking about the thinking behind the programme, Tushar Dhote, Curator, Digital Print Asia, said:
“DPA 2.0 was curated around the real questions digital print businesses are asking today: where to invest, what to automate, which opportunities to pursue and how to build sustainable growth. The conversations across the main stage and breakout rooms showed an industry ready to move from exploring possibilities to acting on them.”
Conversations Grounded in Business Reality
Sessions at DPA 2.0 brought together perspectives from across India and international markets, connecting technology with the commercial realities of running a print business.
The programme explored subjects ranging from the economics of digital print and automation to artificial intelligence, productivity, workflow optimisation, publishing, commercial print, labels and packaging.
A recurring theme was that investment in faster equipment alone cannot solve slower decision-making or inefficient processes. The discussions instead placed emphasis on understanding workflows, identifying bottlenecks, using data more effectively and building businesses capable of responding faster to changing customer requirements.
The Economics Round Table – “Where Digital Wins – And Where It Doesn’t” further brought the commercial side of digital print into focus, encouraging a more practical examination of applications, volumes, costs and business models rather than treating digital transformation as a universal answer.
Reflecting on the conclusion of the edition, Anil Arora, Director, ReEnvision Events Pvt. Ltd., said:
“Digital Print Asia is about moving beyond conversations on technology to conversations that create real business value. With DPA 2.0, our focus was to make automation and emerging opportunities more practical and relevant for the industry. The engagement we saw over these two days reflects an industry ready to turn possibilities into profitable growth.”
Building the Next Chapter of Digital Print
Digital Print Asia 2.0 concluded with a message that extended beyond the two-day summit: the future of digital print will not be defined by technology alone.
It will be shaped by how effectively businesses combine technology with people, processes, applications and commercial thinking.
As the curtains came down on the Bengaluru edition, DPA 2.0 left the industry with more than conversations about what is possible. It created a platform to examine which possibilities are worth pursuing and what it will take to turn them into profitable businesses.
Digital Print Asia will return in 2027, continuing its journey of bringing the digital print community together to explore the technologies, applications, ideas and business opportunities shaping the next phase of print.
