OPA Distributed Grant-in-Aid of Rs. 10,00,000/- to Printers!

Offset Printers Association (OPA) recently distributed the Grant-in-Aid of Rs. 10,00,000/– to the delegates who visited SinoFolding Carton Exhibition at Dongguan, China during April, 2018. The visit to this exhibition was supported by the Government of India, Ministry of MSME, under IC Scheme. Under the scheme 100% air fare is reimbursed to the eligible delegates by the GOI for visiting any approved international exhibition.

31 delegates who visited exhibition at China under the banner of OPA! Standing in the center are Mr. Ahmad Mughira Nurhani, President, PPGI Indonesia and Prof. (Dr.) Rajindrakumar Anayath, Vice Chancellor, DCR University Murthal with Prof. Kamal Chopra who distributed the grant to these delegates.

The cheques of the grant were distributed among 31 delegates during InterPrint Expo India at Chandigarh jointly by Prof. (Dr.) Rajindrakumar Anayath, Vice Chancellor, DCR University Murthal and Mr. Ahmad Mughira Nurhani, President, PPGI Indonesia.

“Till date 23 events have been organized with the support of Ministry of MSME and 963 printers have benefitted from the grant received from GOI from time to time. OPA perhaps is the only association in India to distribute more than 2.2 crore rupees till date.” – Prof. Kamal Chopra, General Secretary, Offset Printers Association

Prof. (Dr) Anayath said, “I have seen the working of this association and would like to say that OPA is the leading association working for the welfare and growth of the printing and packaging industry. I have been informed that OPA organized maximum number of group visits under IC scheme of the Government of India. It is the only association of India that is instrumental in distributing Rs. 2.3 Crores to the printers of India till date under the IC scheme”.
