“JetVarnish is a bridge between digital and offset printers as the machine can be used for finishing both digital as well as offset prints,” added V Balakrishnan, executive general manager – marketing, Konica Minolta Business Solutions.

Talking about the newly launched bizhub Press C71hc, Balakrishnan shared that there have been three key improvements in the press – skin tone, handling shadows and no more outlines. “This is a major leap in technology for photographers,” he added.

Briefing about their experience at PAMEX, Balakrishnan shared, “Besides, there has been a lot of interest in print on demand for monochrome segment for publishing. POD will continue to co-exist with offset printing in book publishing as there are many niche publications. POD also helps in reducing costs and increasing profitability.”

So did Konica Minolta close some deals at the show? “We always close a few deals at such shows and PAMEX is no exception,” added Balakrishnan.

Another important fact that Balakrishnan mentioned was that they have 300 engineers in 44 locations across India, which ensures that customers get timely after sales service.
