Successfully and meticulously organized by the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) and Print-Packaging.com (P) Ltd, PAMEX’15 today comes to a closure, leaving an impeccable impression in the minds of exhibitors and visitors. While, the exhibitors were happy to meet good number of serious and quality visitors to show, the visitors were impressed with a plethora of new launches and live demos at the show, which helped them make purchase decisions at the show itself. “There were around 200 machines running live at the show,” told Tushar Dhote, co-chairman, PAMEX.

The show focused on all major areas of printing, right from pre-press to press to smart post-press solutions. There were 278 exhibitors spread over a net area of 8,000 sq m and a gross area of 16,000 sq m. “In the last three days, we have recorded over 16,000 visitors and we expect another 4,000 on the last day. Though it is too early to comment on the demographics of the visitors but based on pre-registrations, I can say that they were predominantly from West and South, with rest coming from North and East regions,” told Anil Arora of Print-Packaging.com.

“We are happy to say that the footfalls developed into business and we could see happy faces all around,” added Tushar. “Few of the visitors even remarked that it is like a mini-drupa. We are glad that the efforts we have done to make this show a success has reaped fruits,” he said. As many as 22 roadshows were organized to create awareness and pull crowds to the show.

On asking about the learning they have from this show, Tushar replied, “We need to keep perfecting ourselves. If we can satisfy even 75% of people, we are on the right track.”

Anil AroraWhile, Anil added, “The last edition of PAMEX was held at Greater Noida and it was not a good show. So, it was a challenge to convince the exhibitors to give PAMEX another chance. But with the success of PAMEX ’15, we can now focus our energies and time on promoting the exhibition and we hope to get a good contingent of exhibitors from China and Europe in 2017.”

As a message to printers, Tushar shared, “It is very important to visit a trade expo as it is all about seeing the new trends in the industry and witnessing new technologies”. “Smaller exhibitors also offer solutions for specific problems which printers face. So, you need to spend time and find solutions, suitable to your needs,” added Anil.

This is just the beginning…the next PAMEX ’17 will return to Mumbai from December 18-21, 2017. See you again!
